The Chopped Beefsteak Sandwich in all it's glory.
|Date of introduction||1979|
|Ingredients||Beef Patty, Oblong Bun, Onion, and Steak Sauce|

The Chopped Beefsteak Sandwich was a burger introduced by McDonald's in 1979.
The product consisted of a long beef patty, with a long bun, onions, and Steak Sauce. It also came with Onion Nuggets, as a Side Item. The item was sold from 4PM to 9PM.
However, the product was pulled off the shelves around the 80's, due to the product failing to get past the "test product" stage. One of the reasons was because it was pricey, as it costed $1.29, when the regular burger costed 40¢.
People that tasted the Chopped Beefsteak Sandwich said that it was the greatest sandwiches made by McDonald's.
