McDonald's has decided to provide more family-friendly web browsing with Happy Meals.

"McDonald's is committed to providing a safe environment for our customers, and we are pleased to share that WiFi filtering has been activated in the majority of McDonald's nearly 14,000 restaurants nationwide," Terri Hickey, McDonald's Global Communications spokesperson told Secrets.

"I'm lovin it," said Enough is Enough, the anti-porn group headed by Donna Rice Hughes.

"Parents can have peace of mind that, when they or their children go to McDonald's, they will have a safer and more friendly WiFi experience, filtered from pornography, from child porn and from potential sexual exploitation and predation," said Hughes. "McDonald's deserves widespread praise for this act of corporate responsibility and commitment to children and family safety."

Her group launched a "National Porn Free Wi-Fi" campaign" in the fall of 2014, asking McDonald's and Starbucks the way. The group on Wednesday said McDonald's was swift to react, but Starbucks "has yet to respond."
