The Hotcakes breakfast platter was introduced by McDonald's as part of its' breakfast menu, which was also introduced to its stores in 1972. several breakfast platters with eggs, hash browns and meats or breads. An option of Biscuits and gravy are also available in parts of the southern U.S.
