History[]
McCrispy Chicken Fillet was introduced in 2006 as a cheaper, more affordable version of Chicken McDo. The item was a huge success in the Philippines due to its distinct taste from Chicken McDo, being boneless & affordable that starts at ₱39 back in 2006.
The taste of the fillet itself was a regular chicken meat, a slight crispy outside but with a little spicy kick from the pepper. It's not the same with the McChicken patty though, it was made with 50% white meat, 40% red meat & 10% flour*.
