The McLobster was an American seasonal sandwich at McDonald's. It was only available in Atlantic Canada and the New England regions during the summer when lobster was abundant. The McLobster was a lobster roll served in a hot dog bun with “lobster sauce” and shredded lettuce, and it was introduced in 1993. The product faced supply issues and was not very profitable nationally, making it one of McDonald's failed menu items, and it did not really exist anymore. However, a similar item known as the Lobster Roll can still be purchased at select locations along the East Coast in the US and Canada.
