The Mega McMuffin is a variation on the Egg McMuffin containing bacon by default instead of ham and two sausage patties. While technically not discontinued, advertisement in the US has been infrequent or absent since 2018, when the breakfast sandwich was advertised with the slogan "Have a Mega-nificent Day."
This breakfast sandwich has been reported as advertised in Japan, South Africa, and various places across Europe, but allegedly can be ordered in places where no advertisement has been reported, such as in Germany, classifying the Mega McMuffin as a Secret Menu item.
