The Portuguese Sausage Breakfast is a menu item exclusive to McDonald's locations in the Hawaiian Islands. It consists of grilled medallions of locally-sourced Portuguese style linguiça sausage (like kielbasa, but hotter) served with two scrambled eggs and two scoops of steamed white jasmine rice. Some customers like to add soy sauce to their rice.
The dish is also available substituting grilled Spam®, or with both Portuguese sausage and Spam.
